Dee was born and raised in the Deep South where she learned all about hospitality and organization working on everything from 8,000 attendee film festivals to unique, highly successful fundraisers focusing on children and animals. She moved to Austin in 2005 and now utilizes her planning experience with The Simplifiers.

Dee has honed her skills not only in the professional and corporate field as a Meeting Planner, but has also become known for planning detailed, over the top themed events & private parties. She’s organized everything from multi-day professional conferences (1600+ attendees) to charity Easter egg hunts for groups of low income children.

Incredibly focused on logistical precision, style and fun, Dee will do an excellent job planning your event, leaving your company with high ROI and your attendees with unforgettable memories.

In Dee’s spare time, she paints art cars, hosts couchsurfers, plans memorable birthday parties, travels, learns one new recipe a week, performs as a clown, sews, sculpts and studies Spanish and Greek with her husband.
