How to prepare for the #DoTheThing challenge

We are moments away from the #DoTheThing challenge for wedding & event planners kicks off and here’s how to prepare. If you’re still wondering what the challenge is – where have you been?! Click HERE and all will be revealed.

If you already know all about it, keep reading and we will share all you need to know to set yourself up for success.

We’re calling it a challenge because we want you to take action.

The #DoTheThing challenge is all about motivating and inspiring you to make real changes in your events business and master the art of sales.

Are you ready?

Everything kicks off on Monday, January 8th – if you haven’t reserved your space yet – HURRY!

Here’s how The Simplifiers and Mary Baird-Wilcock, CSEP recommend you best prepare for the #DoTheThing challenge to gain maximum results:

1. Go all in

You’ve got to commit to making changes – you can’t half-ass it and still expect to get the same great results that others do.

The event professionals who gave it their all last time were LITERALLY manifesting their Ultimate Ideal Clients right in front of them.

When you gain clarity on your goals, shift your mindset, focus on the vision for your business and who you want to work with, the Universe conspires towards you achieving it.

2. Block out time in your calendar

The videos you watch LIVE are the ones where you get the MOST out of it. This is group learning at it’s finest and we want to hear from YOU in the tribe.

Ask questions and Mary will guide you, personally!

Sometimes life and work get in the way. We’re realistic, so if you can’t join a live masterclass, you can watch a replay later. Just make sure you’re scheduling some time each day to watch and complete tasks.

Act like you’ve scheduled a meeting you can’t cancel so no pesky emails or work tasks distract you from what’s really going to get you results.

Here is the Facebook Live training video call schedule:

3. Failure is not defeat until you stop trying

We are going deep in the 5-day challenge. None of the fluff, all of the good stuff. And in parts of it, you might find yourself having breakthroughs that you can’t even fathom.

That’s okay, it’s all part of the process.

Keep putting one foot in front of the other and do the work.

Above all else, don’t give up. You’ve got Mary there for you, every step of the way.

4. Keep it simple

We promise to break down big, scary topics into easy to understand terms. Does the idea of raising your prices gives you the willies? Being a salesperson makes you cringe? Don’t let it stress you out – we’ll be taking you through everything step by step. In simplicity, you’ll find clarity.

And remember – It’ll all be okay. You’re working with someone whose been there before. Mary is your undercover superhero…the person you can ask the dumbest questions to and not worry if you’ll look foolish.

Plus you’ll have access to an exclusive, private group with The Simplifiers and other experienced event professionals, ready to support you.

These five days are going to be transformative, insightful and FUN. We can’t wait to see what you achieve!
