Running short on time? Check out my “Thought of the Day” mini-episodes, where I tackle big thoughts in simple, short spurts to spin you in the right direction. (try saying that 5 times fast)

In today’s “Thought of the Day,” I want you to ponder this: Is self-care really, truly a NON-NEGOTIABLE in your life?

Today, I am sharing three simple things we can take action on in order to nourish ourselves and ultimately, show up as our best selves for our families, our relationships and our businesses.

Awesome things mentioned in this episode:

  • Squash that people-pleaser inner voice in your head –
    • Have you ever said, “Oh, how could I possibly put myself before them?”
    • You are in fact, giving them a GIFT by showing up as your best self. Well rested, well hydrated, nourished by good foods and a body and brain that is performing at its peak because you take good care of it.
  • Just 5 minutes –
    • A lot of times we overcomplicate what self-care actually means…
    • You just need 5 minutes.
      • of breathing
      • of stretching
      • of meditation or prayer
      • of a nice cup of tea
      • …5 minutes can shift the energy in your life dramatically and it’s so simple.
