Time for a guided visualization exercise: I want to simplify how to be a vibrant person. You know, the vibrant person that you innately are, deep down inside. All this month, we are focused on the theme of radiance… that glow, that shine, that juicy essence of your soul that naturally oozes forth when you’re in your element. It’s that expansive space of Love when you’re in the flow, connecting with people who light you up, or you’re doing the work that energizes your spirit.
And I believe that it’s your being’s natural state, if you allow it… if you give yourself permission to step up and into the light. That undeniable vibrancy will show up in photos of you when you’re having fun, when you’re doing your best and when you let your true spirit shine through. So yeah, let’s talk about that!
So to kickoff the month, today is another guided visualization episode, which we’ve decided to release on the first Tuesday of every month this season. How does it work? Simple! Let my voice be a guide for you as you focus inward to help you tap into your inner wisdom and Intuition for answers.

- 3) Do a body scan and feel your feet
- 4) Time to visualize and bring forth your radiance and vibrancy
- Your shoulders drop and like a Cheshire cat, a big grin slowly emerges on your face.
- This water is different. You are experiencing the most magical shower you’ve ever taken in your entire life.
- See it grow with your eyes. Feel it with your body. Sense it with your soul. This power, this pure love that radiates outward and stems straight from you.
- What does it feel like to tap into this deep, soul wisdom and vibrancy?
- It was yours all along and it doesn’t require another person to give it to you. This radiant, vibrant energy is you. It is your gift, your super power.
- You are never alone and you are always fully supported.
- One final whisper
- I mean, how many times in your day-to-day life are given permission to truly slow down and feel the feels? Scream at the top of your lungs and know no one is judging you? Or weep and express and move through the things you’ve bottled up for so long… without anyone batting an eye?
- Your light will shine even brighter when you acknowledge, feel and move through the dark. The heavy. The unspoken words, thoughts, and fears that you are hiding from yourself and others right now.
- Everything within.
- This is the secret to becoming a more vibrant person.

Listen and participate in a guided visualization exercise: how to be a vibrant person.
Before we get started, here are a few things that you’ll need to do in order to get the most out of this.
1) Create a safe space – no distractions or interruptions
First off, you’ll need to create a safe space where you won’t be distracted or interrupted… and also, keep in mind that during this exercise, you’ll have your eyes closed. So yeah, probably not best to do this one while driving.
Silence your phone notifications… The world can wait for the next few minutes.
Then, get comfortable in a seated position or lying down, if that feels better. You get to decide. As with all visualization and breathing exercises we do together this year, you always get to decide what is best for you… take what you need, bless and release the rest.
Okay, now close your eyes or avert your gaze to the ground.
2) Take 3 intentional breaths together with me
Let’s take three intentional, life-affirming breaths.
- Deep breath in through the nose, expand the belly, hold at the top, and then slowly release through the mouth. (Do this three times.)
Now, let your breathing come back to a normal pace, whatever feels right for you.
3) Do a body scan and feel your feet
It’s time to do a body scan… imagine you are slowly scanning your entire body from the tip top of your head, slowly down like molasses, all the way to your fingertips, and then to your toes.
What sensations do you feel? Knots, sore spots or sourness… or on the flip side, any feelings of harmony, joy, or flow…. just notice what you feel in your body, without judgment or trying to fix it. Just scan down, ever so slowly until you’ve done your entire body.
Once you’re at your feet, really take notice of what it feels like to have your feet make contact with the ground. To be firmly rooted down, the safety and security of that sensation. What do your feet feel like right now?
4) Time to visualize and bring forth your radiance and vibrancy
I want you to imagine you are in a tropical place and staying at the most beautiful villa tucked away under a covered canopy of trees and flowers. Bring that image to the forefront of your mind now.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
You step outside to the porch that overlooks the ocean in the distance. You feel a cool breeze wisp across your face and immediately, you let out a great big sigh… finally, you’re on vacation, you’re away from your phone and email, and no one expects anything from you today, whatsoever.
Your shoulders drop and like a Cheshire cat, a big grin slowly emerges on your face.
You look to the left and you notice an outdoor shower stall hidden away in a secluded corner of the home… of course, you decide to embrace the moment and take a shower.
No one is around, you feel safe and so you strip down completely. As you turn the water faucet on and step inside the stall, you notice this isn’t a normal shower at all. The water is warm, golden like honey, slow and easy. As you let the water drip down from the tip-top crown of your head, you feel it caress every part of your body like a healing balm full of calm confidence, love, and gentleness.
This water is different. You are experiencing the most magical shower you’ve ever taken in your entire life.
As the water touches your skin, you feel an inner glow radiating from your heart center that is growing stronger and stronger, brighter and brighter over time. You soak it up. Each tender moment under this shower, you find yourself standing taller, feeling more vibrant and totally lit up from inside out.
The cool breeze continues to wisp through your hair, counter balanced with the warm shower that creates a dichotomy for your five senses. You feel the energy beaming from your heart and expanding outwards to completely cover your entire body.
Next, you feel the urge to expand that bubble further… could you expand that loving energy to not only encompass your body, but could you push it out further to encompass your entire home? Feel it grow like a warm light outwards to others.
See it grow with your eyes. Feel it with your body. Sense it with your soul. This power, this pure love that radiates outward and stems straight from you.
You choose to go further.
I want you to imagine expanding this vibrant bubble of energy outwards to now include your entire neighborhood… what does that feel like? When you expand your vibrancy and radiance outwards, you realize that you do not grow weak… you actually feel more and more energized. Once you’ve covered your entire neighborhood, expand it to your entire city… and then, when you’re ready, the entire world.
What does it feel like to tap into this deep, soul wisdom and vibrancy?
Take a moment to draw your vibrant energy back home, ever so slowly… back down to your city… back down to your neighborhood… back down to your home and then, back to your own body.
Notice how easy it is to bring this energy back home to you.
It was yours all along and it doesn’t require another person to give it to you. This radiant, vibrant energy is you. It is your gift, your super power.
And it’s yours.
Breathe.Take this last moment to say thank you with your full spirit and remember that you can revisit this gift any time you wish. It’s yours forever and ever.
You are never alone and you are always fully supported.
Take a moment to gather yourself with a deep, belly-filling breath. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.
So, what did it feel like to expand your radiance outwards and to shine bright? …to actually give it permission to grow stronger and stronger, and bigger and bigger than yourself?
I want you to set a 7-minute timer, grab a pen and paper, and take this time to write down everything you remember from this visualization exercise.
- What wisdom was shared?
- What visual clues did you see?
- How did it feel in your body to see your radiance grow like that?
- What part of this exercise is sticking MOST in your mind and in your heart, that you can’t seem to shake?
- …and what’s one thing that you can do today (with courage and simplicity) to take action on this vision, in real life?
One final whisper
Last night, I took part in an Ecstatic Dance session, which in a nutshell is a safe space to move your body, get attuned to whatever big feelings are coursing through you, and to express it through dance. There are no choreographed moves to learn… no open bar to lubricate your courage… and no underlying expectations from others to do anything at all. You could lie on the floor in a puddle of tears and no one will try to “fix” you or make it better. They simply give you space (respectfully) so you can do you.
Which is pretty much what I did last night.
The tears came hot and fast like a tidal wave through my body the moment I stepped on the dance floor. And so, instead of bypassing… I sat with it.
While others danced, I sat on my yoga mat and let the tears stream down my face, falling fast and furious onto the floor. I let the raw surge of emotions be felt, acknowledged, and given space to dance their way up and out of me.
I mean, how many times in your day-to-day life are given permission to truly slow down and feel the feels? Scream at the top of your lungs and know no one is judging you? Or weep and express and move through the things you’ve bottled up for so long… without anyone batting an eye?
I share this story because my hope is that some time this week… I hope you get this opportunity as well. Your vibrancy, your radiance grows stronger when you give yourself space and opportunity to feel ALL of your feels. The good, bad and the ugly… if there is such a thing? All of your emotions and feelings are part of the whole spectrum – and the release is liberating.
Your light will shine even brighter when you acknowledge, feel and move through the dark. The heavy. The unspoken words, thoughts, and fears that you are hiding from yourself and others right now.
Let it be seen.
Even if it’s in the safety of your car parked on the street… give yourself a safe container to let it all out. Just for a moment. Just to release. The tears, the screaming, the anger, or even the laughter, sheer ecstasy or joy. Dear friend, express it all to tap into an even greater expansiveness to your radiance.
Just like in the visualization exercise, when you express this, you release the power it has over you and you transmute your fears into love… and your light grows bigger, stronger, brighter over time.
This is your safety and security.
This is the path towards becoming a whole person who shows up to life with their whole self.
This is the secret to becoming a more vibrant person.
I hope this visualization sticks with you the entire week through. Do it again and again if you need clarity or want to remember the power you hold within… because when you tap into your deep inner knowing, you’re accessing the Divine. That electric energy that can be found inside all of us that connects us all together. It knows. You know. We all know if we are brave and we open ourselves to it.
You can do this, I believe in you.
