Time for a guided visualization exercise: this will help you choose what’s right for you, if you’ve got a big decision to make this week. That will be our focus and intention for the entire month ahead… making good choices that enrich our lives and raise our vibration. So to kickoff the month, today is another guided visualization episode, which we’ve decided to release on the first Tuesday of every month this season. How does it work? Simple! Let my voice be a guide for you as you focus inward to help you tap into your inner wisdom and Intuition for answers.

Listen and participate in a guided visualization exercise: how to choose what’s right for you.
Before we get started, here are a few things that you’ll need to do in order to get the most out of this.
1) Create a safe space – no distractions or interruptions
First off, you’ll need to create a safe space where you won’t be distracted or interrupted… and also, keep in mind that during this exercise, you’ll have your eyes closed. So yeah, probably not best to do this one while driving.
Silence your phone notifications… The world can wait for the next few minutes.
Then, get comfortable in a seated position or lying down, if that feels better. You get to decide. As with all visualization and breathing exercises we do together this year, you always get to decide what is best for you… take what you need, bless and release the rest.
Okay, now close your eyes or avert your gaze to the ground.
2) Take 3 intentional breaths together with me
Let’s take three intentional, life-affirming breaths.
- Deep breath in through the nose, expand the belly, hold at the top, and then slowly release through the mouth. (Do this three times.)
Now, let your breathing come back to a normal pace, whatever feels right for you.
3) Do a body scan and feel your feet
It’s time to do a body scan… imagine you are slowly scanning your entire body from the tip top of your head, slowly down like molasses, all the way to your fingertips, and then to your toes.
What sensations do you feel? Knots, sore spots or sourness… or on the flip side, any feelings of harmony, joy, or flow…. just notice what you feel in your body, without judgment or trying to fix it. Just scan down, ever so slowly until you’ve done your entire body.
Once you’re at your feet, really take notice of what it feels like to have your feet make contact with the ground. To be firmly rooted down, the safety and security of that sensation. What do your feet feel like right now?
4) Time to visualize what’s right for you next
I want you to imagine you’ve walked into your favorite room either at your home, at your office, or maybe some place from your past that brings up good memories… It should be a place where you feel safe, warm, and welcomed. Choose wisely – this room should feel like a sanctuary to you.
Open the door.
Take a moment to look around… What do you see in this room? What do you hear? What does it smell like? Is there a gentle breeze that you can feel on your face or a warm fire roaring in the hearth? You decide. This is your favorite room, after all.
Take a moment to really feel this space with all five senses.
Once you feel like you’re fully present in the room, you look over and notice there’s a desk in the corner by the window. There are three sealed envelopes sitting on top of the desk. Curious, you head over to get a closer look.
As you sit down at this desk, you root both feet down to the ground. Get settled in. This is your favorite chair that fully supports your back and feels like a dream to sit on. You feel 100% comfortable at this desk and immediately, you also feel a sense of deep wisdom wash over your body… you cannot explain it but you’ve sat at this desk (many times before) and have made powerful decisions here that changed the course of your lifetime in a positive way.
Today is no different.
As you look down at the three sealed envelopes on the desk, you realize that there is an important decision you need to make this week.
Last month, your focus and intention was to re-emerge back out into the world… and boy, did you ever!!?! This reawakening stirred something beautiful in you that’s been dormant for way, way too long. In that abundance, so many opportunities have come forth… so many paths that are beckoning you forward.
The grand adventure awaits you. All you need to do is decide.
So, where do you want to head next?
What path will serve your higher purpose… the primary reason your soul is on this planet at this exact moment, in this exact part of the world, and with these exact people in your inner circle?
I want you to focus on only ONE of those new opportunities that has come forth… whether it’s a new job opportunity or a new love interest… or maybe the chance to relocate to a new city or neighborhood… or something that will fundamentally change how you move and interact within this reality, as a whole.
Big or small, focus on one decision you need to make right now.
Bring it to the forefront of your mind.
- On the far left envelope, it simply says, “yes, please.”
- On the far right envelope, it says, “thank you, but no thank you.”
- And on the middle one… it just says, “pause.”
That middle envelope is a curious one… because when you do nothing, you’re ultimately making a decision with your inaction. Keep in mind, there are consequences to doing nothing, as many times the burden of the current situation, challenge and/or opportunity that you are facing becomes heavier and heavier on your shoulders when you don’t decide to take action. So, choose wisely.
Take a deep breath here.
Energetically, which one feels like the right answer for this one particular choice? Maybe you notice one envelope is looking more appealing than the other? Maybe you sense a warmth when you wave your hands over one versus the other? Maybe your heart flutters or maybe you just instinctively know which will make a positive impact on your life and those around you?
I want you to choose now.
Which will it be?
With courage, pick one envelope and open it up.
Pull the letter out from inside and take a moment to fully absorb everything that is written on it… it seems to be a love note from your Future Self telling you about what lies ahead, now that you’ve made this decision definitively.
They share deep wisdom and insight, plus the pitfalls and curveballs that potentially await you because life is a spectrum. There might be images, moving pictures, smells, secret code messages, sweet encouraging words or even music on this magic letter. Soak it all in.
Flip the sheet over and see if there is a PS there for you… one last little note that they didn’t want you to miss.
And when you’re ready, say “thank you” to your Future Self for taking the time to write this letter, sharing all of their wisdom, and for always being there to guide you on this journey called life.
You are never alone and you are always fully supported.
Take a moment to gather yourself and take a deep, belly-filling breath. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.
So, what was the decision you just made?
What did your highest self tell you? What did they say?
I want you to set a 7-minute timer, grab a pen and paper, and take this time to write down everything you remember from this visualization exercise.
- What wisdom was shared?
- What visual clues did you see?
- What did you see or experience as you read your special note?
- How did it feel to make this important decision?
- What part of this exercise is sticking MOST in your mind and in your heart, that you can’t seem to shake?
- …and what’s one thing that you can do today (with courage and simplicity) to take action on this vision, in real life?
One final whisper
There is power in making a decision and sticking with it.
It’s like shedding a winter coat that you’ve been wearing for months and months (and months!) but then waking up and realizing the sun is shining and you don’t need this heavy coat any longer. The second you take it off, you feel lighter. The world feels different, more open and you’re ready to embark on this new path ahead, wearing the right things for this season.
I hope this visualization sticks with you the entire week as you choose what’s right for you next.
Do it again and again if you have other decisions you need to make in the future… because when you tap into your deep inner knowing, you’re accessing the Divine. That electric energy that can be found inside all of us that connect us together. It knows. You know. We all know if we are brave and we open ourselves to it.
I hope you take action on this decision today. Make that phone call. Send that email. Make that ‘Bold Ask’ out into the world. Do the thing.
As long as this decision isn’t harming yourself or someone else in the world, go for it. Follow your truth and see what unfolds from the Divine bliss of finally making a decision and moving forward.
You can do this, I believe in you.
