Time for a guided visualization exercise: this will help you get into alignment mind, body, and spirit. That will be our focus and intention for the entire month ahead… what does it mean when all parts of our whole self come together, find peace, and work in cohesion? I want to dive deep and unpack that. My Intuition tells me that a lot of this work will require trust and grace… and the belief that we have the ability to change, heal, and shift our identity towards something more rooted and healthy. That’s what alignment and integration means to me. Holding things loosely but also realizing that evolution is a constant, subtle shift over time. A dance, really.
So to kickoff the month, today is another guided visualization episode, which we’ve decided to release on the first Tuesday of every month this season. How does it work? Simple! Let my voice be a guide for you as you focus inward to help you tap into your inner wisdom and Intuition for answers.
- Listen and participate in a guided visualization exercise: how to get into alignment mind, body, and spirit.
- 1) Create a safe space – no distractions or interruptions
- 2) Take 3 intentional breaths together with me
- 3) Do a body scan and feel your feet
- 4) Time to visualize and get into alignment
- Yet, this time you’re seated at this table for a different reason. You’ve got a puzzle laid out in a thousand different pieces in front of you.
- As the frame of this puzzle starts to come together, you realize it’s much bigger than you originally imagined.
- “This goes here, that goes there… it’s coming together, keep going. Do you see it yet?”
- In the middle, ever present, seeking guidance mind-body-spirit and boldly taking action to place pieces where they need to go next. You’re doing the thing.

Listen and participate in a guided visualization exercise: how to get into alignment mind, body, and spirit.
Before we get started, here are a few things that you’ll need to do in order to get the most out of this.
1) Create a safe space – no distractions or interruptions
First off, you’ll need to create a safe space where you won’t be distracted or interrupted… and also, keep in mind that during this exercise, you’ll have your eyes closed. So yeah, probably not best to do this one while driving.
Silence your phone notifications… The world can wait for the next few minutes.
Then, get comfortable in a seated position or lying down, if that feels better. You get to decide. As with all visualization and breathing exercises we do together this year, you always get to decide what is best for you… take what you need, bless and release the rest.
Okay, now close your eyes or avert your gaze to the ground.
2) Take 3 intentional breaths together with me
Let’s take three intentional, life-affirming breaths.
- Deep breath in through the nose, expand the belly, hold at the top, and then slowly release through the mouth. (Do this three times.)
Now, let your breathing come back to a normal pace, whatever feels right for you.
3) Do a body scan and feel your feet
It’s time to do a body scan… imagine you are slowly scanning your entire body from the tip top of your head, slowly down like molasses, all the way to your fingertips, and then to your toes.
What sensations do you feel? Knots, sore spots or sourness… or on the flip side, any feelings of harmony, joy, or flow…. just notice what you feel in your body, without judgment or trying to fix it. Just scan down, ever so slowly until you’ve done your entire body.
Once you’re at your feet, really take notice of what it feels like to have your feet make contact with the ground. To be firmly rooted down, the safety and security of that sensation. What do your feet feel like right now?
4) Time to visualize and get into alignment
I want you to imagine you’re seated in front of a large dining table. This is a place where you’ve gathered your favorite people for dinner in the past. Where many memories were forged and relationships were strengthened over your lifetime. This table is special, sacred, and uniquely yours.
Yet, this time you’re seated at this table for a different reason. You’ve got a puzzle laid out in a thousand different pieces in front of you.
At this moment, nothing has snapped together quite yet. It’s just the early stages of noticing colors and patterns and shapes. For some, that may seem overwhelming but right now, you’ve got a real sense of peace. There’s nowhere you need to be in this exact moment and the thought of getting a little lost in a puzzle gives you a sense of calm that you cannot explain.
No distractions, no deadlines, no nothing to pull you away.
You decide to start on the outer edges first, gathering the pieces that have straight edges and corners and begin to put them together, one by one. “Hello puzzle,” you say with your heart, “what picture are you trying to show me today?”
As the frame of this puzzle starts to come together, you realize it’s much bigger than you originally imagined.
More detailed. More brilliant… and before your anxiety or stinkin’ thinkin’ kicks in and says “stop now, you’ll never have enough time to finish this,” you gently reassure yourself — you’ve got all the time in the world and this moment is a gift from the Divine. You decide to keep going.
The outer frame is complete. You now decide to group like colors together to see if you can spot more patterns in the rest of the pieces… what feels like it naturally goes together? What feels incongruent? You create piles to make sense of things and in these piles, you start to see something magical appear. The puzzle itself begins to whisper to you, nudging you on to what steps to take next to make positive progress.
“This goes here, that goes there… it’s coming together, keep going. Do you see it yet?”
As you start to place pieces down inside that frame that you created, you’re starting to see the big picture of the puzzle itself. It’s a visual representation of your life trajectory. Parts of it reveal your greatest memories from your childhood. Parts of it show how far just you’ve come in the last few years and how resilient you truly are. And parts of it are like an oracle, revealing where you’re headed next. Alignment. Awe. Wonder. It’s all coming together, do you see it yet?
You’re starting to feel a sense of accomplishment as each piece falls into place, one by one with grace. Momentum is taking the place where fear once was and you’re struck with an overwhelming feeling that this is exactly where you’re supposed to be right now.
In the middle, ever present, seeking guidance mind-body-spirit and boldly taking action to place pieces where they need to go next. You’re doing the thing.
There are just a few pieces left until the picture is complete. At this moment, you feel a little bit of sadness knowing the journey is about to come to an end but equally filled with gratitude for all of the clarity that’s been shared with you all along the way. Isn’t that life summed up in a nutshell? Peace, presence, clarity, change, evolution, grace and gratitude.
The last piece goes in and you take a moment to soak up the entire picture.
What does this puzzle want to tell you about your life? The hard parts you’ve survived… the luscious parts you’re about to embark on… the pieces you must let go and evolve in order to find alignment and move forward. What does it want to tell you about your identity? What does it want to share about the Divine guidance that sits inside you now?
Take this last moment to say thank you with your full spirit and remember that you can visit this gift any time you wish. It’s yours forever and forever.
You are never alone and you are always fully supported.
Take a moment to gather yourself and take a deep, belly-filling breath. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.
So, what was the picture on the puzzle that you just solved?
What did your highest self tell you? What did they say?
I want you to set a 7-minute timer, grab a pen and paper, and take this time to write down everything you remember from this visualization exercise.
- What wisdom was shared?
- What visual clues did you see?
- What did you see or experience as you locked in one puzzle piece at a time?
- How did it feel when you completed the puzzle and found alignment?
- What part of this exercise is sticking MOST in your mind and in your heart, that you can’t seem to shake?
- …and what’s one thing that you can do today (with courage and simplicity) to take action on this vision, in real life?
One final whisper
You’ve re-emerged. You’ve made a decision and now it’s time to get into alignment.
I don’t know about you but I’ve been feeling this surge of new energy these last few months in my own life that is propelling me forward. It’s exciting and slightly terrifying all at the same time… but aren’t all great plot twists in life?
So if you’re in that energy space right now, buzzing at such a high frequency that is exhilarating and a wee bit exhausting… my hope is you keep rooted and centered with gratitude. The duality of those two thoughts can be held simultaneously if you allow it: Super buzzing enthusiasm for what’s next and super grounded energy rooted in what is.
I hope this visualization sticks with you the entire week as you get into alignment.
Do it again and again if you need clarity or greater alignment… because when you tap into your deep inner knowing, you’re accessing the Divine. That electric energy that can be found inside all of us that connects us all together. It knows. You know. We all know if we are brave and we open ourselves to it.
You can do this, I believe in you.
It’s time to SIMPLIFY.
