I don’t want to alarm you, but at some point in your career, things are going to shift and you’ll need to know how to make a career pivot. It’s totally going to be necessary.
It may be because you’re getting older, and you can’t—or simply don’t want to—keep up the pace, or long hours. Or your industry has changed and you’ve got to change with it. There could come a time when you get bored with what you’re doing, and take a career pivot into something different.
When it’s time to make a switch, you’ve got to be courageous, nimble and ready to #DoTheThing.

Jennifer Perkins simplifies how to make a career pivot
In this episode, you will learn:
- How to handle big changes and still thrive when your career and business is evolving over time
- To forecast when change is coming, and what to do about it
- The difference between a ‘forced career pivot’ and a ‘voluntary career pivot’
- How to pivot when things go way off-track, or when you’re faced with failure
- The biggest mistakes that small business owners make when faced with change
Jennifer has done it all in her career. From running a jewelry business, to having multiple TV specials, to launching a podcast. Over 15 years, she has learned so much on ducking and dodging, but more importantly, evolving and pivoting her brand.
If you’re faced with an oncoming career pivot, I hope this one helps you to #DoTheThing!
My challenge for you this week:
