Today, I am switching gears a bit and want to give you a little pep talk, just from me to you. If ever you’re feeling overwhelmed or losing your drive… or just need your own personal undercover superhero to cheer you on, play this one over and over again and let my words wash over you.
You are brilliant.
You’ve got this.
What you do in the world, matters.
Your clients appreciate you.
Your colleagues value your expert insight and lean on you because they know you’re reliable.
Your family loves you… no matter what.
When you feel down and out, know this… it’s not sustainable to give 110% day in and day out. Even superheroes (like you) need rest and recovery. Even leaders like you have down days and struggle to put one foot in front of the other.
Or feel a bit foggy.
And they question themselves, their ability and the Universe around them.
But do you want to hear the good news?
You are not alone.
You are fully supported right here and right now, in this moment.
The answer you seek is a 7-minute timer away. Just give yourself permission to journal it out, get it on paper and process whatever is blocking you from making progress.
Your foundation is strong… even if it feels like you’re changing the tires on a car moving 90 miles per hour. You’re resilient and you’ve survived greater challenges than this.
So whatever lies ahead of you now – it doesn’t stand a chance up against you, your great big heart and unflappable courage.
Breathe in grace. Breathe out hot mess.
You’re on the right path and you’re filled with unlimited potential. Believe that.
Tap in to this wisdom and take the very next step.
You can do this, I believe in you.
It’s time to SIMPLIFY.
If this thought of the day inspired you…
Snap a photo of you doing the thing and send it to me via Instagram, privately or publicly… just tag @thesimplifiers – I’ll be your virtual accountability buddy in your quest to simplify your life.

What’s one tip that’s helping you simplify your work, or life these days?
Click here to send me a voicemail! We’ve added a fancy little vertical button which says ‘Send Mary a Voicemail’ on the right side of the website.
Here, you can record a voicemail through your phone or your laptop, and then, we can feature you on a future episode!
So, what’s one thing that’s helping you simplify these days…
- Maybe it’s a new meditation that’s working for you or
- A great book you’re loving these days or
- You’ve simplified the never-ending issue around paperwork (and if that’s the case, share your secrets!)
Leave us a message with:
- Your name
