Earlier this week, we shared part one of this conversation, all about how to find your dream home. They say there are a few super key moments in life that are high stakes… getting married (or divorced), having a baby, moving to a new job or city and yes, buying a house. It’s the one time you spend a helluva lot of money and you want to do it right.
Now, if you haven’t heard part one, go back and listen to that one first. But if you’re ready to continue on, let’s pick back up here with my conversation with REALTOR Robin McCoy as she simplifies how to find your dream home.
It’s time to simplify…
My special guest today is Robin McCoy and she’s simplifying how to find your dream home.
We tackle and simplify all aspects of it, including:
- What the first few steps are to buying a home nowadays
- Why she recommends to her clients to “put their shields up” and how to do it
- When searching for homes, what things you should consider, above and beyond how long your commute would be
- How using “love letters” could work for and against you in the home buying process – you decide based on the pros/cons of writing them
- …and ultimately, we talked about the best practices and strategies you could use to make a compelling offer that buyers will find appealing.
It’s another week of our new way of podcasting, splitting the weekly episode up into two parts… We’ve been getting lots of positive feedback from you on this!
If you haven’t heard yet, we are releasing the first half now and part two on Friday this week. That way, the content is in a smaller, bite-size portion for you to listen to now, simmer on this entire week and be intentional with integrating what you learn into your everyday life.
We are simplifying our episodes to be shorter in length, easier to listen to, on-the-go.
Things have changed with the pandemic, including our old ways of listening to podcasts (either on our commute or at the gym)…and we’ve listened. Now you get shorter episodes, split into two for simpler learning.
Q: Are you ready to find your dream home? If yes, this one is for you.
It’s time to #DoTheThing!
