Earlier this week, we shared part one of this conversation, all about how to adopt a healthy mindset. For me, the more and more I discuss how the subconscious in our brains work, the more I get genuinely curious with how the mind, body and spirit work in harmony. Even deeper still, what happens when one is out of whack? Does it affect your ability to make wise decisions (Yes.) Does it hijack your day and jeopardize where you are headed next? (Yes and yes.) So yeah, let’s talk about it.
Now, if you haven’t heard part one, go back and listen to that one first. But if you’re ready to continue on, let’s pick back up here with my conversation with Toks Aruoture as she simplifies how to adopt a healthy mindset.
It’s time to simplify… Here’s how.
My special guest today is Toks Aruoture and she’s simplifying how to adopt a healthy mindset.
We tackle and simplify all aspects of it, including:
- Why the “back-to-school” season is a particularly great time to refresh your mindset
- Her beliefs on why “everything that happens in your life is directly related to your mindset”
- What roadblocks and hindrances that you might have (consciously or unconsciously) that are keeping you from having a healthy mindset
- How to “play big” in life and (as she says), unwrap your gifts that’ll help you thrive
- …and ultimately, why she believes authenticity is the key ingredient to a healthy mindset and how to be more authentic in your work and life.
All this month, we’re focused on the theme of “Discernment” – learning how to make wise decisions to change the course of your work and life in a positive way. Every day is a fresh start and a new beginning.
1000 daily choices is how you begin a brand new life.
We will explore what that means on every level this month, both personally and professionally.
As always, ping me over on Instagram @thesimplifiers – and tell me your thoughts:

- On a scale of 1-10, how healthy is your mindset right now?
