Amala Foundation Community Center

“Founded in 2001, the Amala Foundation has served over 2300 youth with programs in 5 countries and 4 states. Over the last 13 years, the Amala Foundation has created volunteer opportunities for 2500+ volunteers. The Amala Foundation is headquartered in Austin, Texas.”

The Amala Foundation has a beautiful Sanctuary, Community Center and grounds that are home to 700 year old Oak Trees, which are available for rental for a variety of events including weddings, workshops, retreats and birthdays.
The community center can hold about 150 people with sitting and standing room and maxes out at a guest count of 200.
Rates are as follows:
- $250 per hour on Saturday
- $200 per hour Sunday or Friday
- $1800 full day Saturday
- $1500 full day Sunday and Friday
As far as preferred vendors go, The Amala Foundation has a list that they provide for clients to use. Typically for catering, food trucks or the kitchen on-site are used.
Another awesome thing about having an event at The Amala Foundation Community Center is that 80% of event profits goes back to their foundation.
For parking, there is a lot across the street, parking on the street around venue and right on the other side of Lamar there is a residential neighborhood they also recommend to guests for parking space.
