Lone Oak Barn
It isn’t often that one finds a venue that can satisfy both a need for rustic Texan authenticity and a classic sense of elegance. Fortunately, we found one for you. Enter Lone Oak Barn.
From the cavernous expanse of the aged wood grand hall to the festoon lit patio overlooking a small duck pond, there truly are infinite reasons to fall in love with this space. Open for just over a year, owners Temple and Shelli Aday were first inspired to break ground on the project by their daughter when they noticed a lack of rustic-inspired event venues in the Round Rock area. After some consideration, Temple and Shelli determined that there truly was a market for what they had in mind and decided to make the Lone Oak Barn a reality.
With its immense ceiling fans and retracting side panels, the cross breeze that floats through the barn cools the building and gives the illusion of being outside on a breezy day. The South Hall is perfect for an on-site indoor ceremony or cocktail hour with two sets of twin glass paneled garage doors that can be raised to offer access to the patio and duck pond. The polished concrete floors are perfect for dancing the night away especially when the candle-lit chandeliers are lit up, creating a warm and romantic glow throughout the room. The large sliding barn doors that serve as the entrance also make for a dramatic and breathtaking bridal entrance for either indoor or outdoor ceremonies.
Offered upon booking is the use of the property for engagement photos as well as night before storage and use of the building for rehearsal the on the eve of your big day, all included in your 12-hour $5,000 rental fee. On the day of your wedding, you will be able to spend your time in the lavish bridal room with ample space and a gorgeous wall-sized vanity that is perfect for pre-wedding photos. The groomsmen room is located downstairs and feature rich décor and rustic furniture.
The venue has tables and seating for up to 250 guests as well as a wooden bar and other movable style pieces. While they suggest choosing vendors from their vast preferred vendor list, other vendors can be considered. The service of an event planner is also strongly suggested although on-site wedding coordination can be discussed with the venue for an added fee.
