Springdale Farm and Eden East
Just two miles from downtown Austin sits five acres of farmland flourishing with homegrown vegetables, chickens and happy Austinites. Since 1992, Springdale Farm has been proudly owned and operated by Glenn and Paula Foore who call the farm home. With over 75 different seasonal vegetables to choose from, you can come out every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 9 a.m-1 p.m to buy the freshest produce in town.
Besides having a farm stand twice a week, Springdale farm regularly host different events, which includes weddings, birthday parties, field trips for schools and Girl Scout outings. Pricing greatly depends on the amount of people attending the events. A wedding at the venue includes full access to the farm, as well as the benches and chairs for the ceremony. September-November and March to early June are the busiest wedding times, so if interested reserve your day soon!
A restaurant is also located on the farm. Eden East recently opened its doors on May 17, 2013 and provides all catering for events, along with being open to the public on the weekends. Majority of the food prepared comes from the local gardens of the farm, guaranteeing the highest quality food in the city! The restaurant takes reservation only and can seat 80 people each night. Dinner is approximately three hours and includes a six to eight course meal, starting out with complimentary alcohol and ending with an experience you can only get from dining underneath the stars at Eden East.
