Mayflower
Last week’s cocktail was the April Shower which means this week we are bringing you the Mayflower – aren’t we clever?! May is just around the corner and this delicious mix of brandy, sweet vermouth and a few other ingredients make this week’s signature cocktail idea one that you wont want to miss. The Mayflower is perfect for any of your Spring events including bridal showers, birthday celebrations or a relaxing weekend at home.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz Brandy
- 1 tsp Cointreau
- 1 tsp Pernod
- 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
Directions:
Pour the vermouth, brandy, Pernod, Cointreau and bitters into a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes. Stir well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve. Enjoy your Mayflower!
