Neon Nights Presented By Roadhouse Relics

Looking for a venue for an intimate yet different retirement party or a unique rehearsal dinner? Look no further. Neon Nights presented by Roadhouse Relics is the epitome of Austin, Texas. From the neon signs that cover the walls of the art gallery of Todd Sanders to the backyard filled with even more neon signs, old gas pumps, and a ginormous chicken (yes, I said chicken), the place screams eclectic! P.S. Does that “Greetings From Austin” mural painted on the side of Roadhouse Relics look familiar? It’s recently been featured in the Chase Bank commercial and two consecutive Super Bowl halftime commercials. Artist Todd Sanders has done work for Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson, and many, many more. Also, Sanders most recently created the artwork on the cover of King’s of Leon 2013 album, Mechanical Bull.
With the help of gallery owner, Todd Sanders, Chef David Waggoner co-created Neon Nights presented by Roadhouse Relics. These are socials put on the first Thursday of every month at the Roadhouse Relic gallery. Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Shiner Brewery sponsor the Neon Nights events, which means that alcohol is on the house. These events are growing and growing each month and also include surprise entertainment and Chef Waggoner’s yummy food, available for purchase outside of Roadhouse Relics in his food truck.
With a maximum capacity of 75, Roadhouse Relics is made to accommodate your smaller scale events but don’t let that hold you back. The event space rental is $1500 from 6 pm to midnight and $1900 from 6 pm to 2 am. There are endless options of setup for your event and working with Chef Waggoner will make it all that easier. He is open to any ideas you may have and will do his best to accommodate.
Chef Waggoner runs the events weekdays after 6 pm and all day on the weekends, and will be by your side each step of the way when it comes to event planning, entertainment, and menu options. He is well known for a sustainable, locally sourced and environmentally conscious menu that is sure to make your mouth water. This can include a buffet style service of “The Sunday Picnic” which includes fried chicken and all the trimmings, passed hors d’ oeuvres of panzanella tomatoes, Thai dumplings, al pastor taco and many more, or even a seated dining service that can include a multi-course menu of your choice, designed with the help of Chef Waggoner. Although, if you already have a particular caterer in mind, Neon Nights presented by Roadhouse Relics is open to other caters and event vendors and Chef Waggoner is also open to renting out his food truck kitchen. They also have a preferred photographer and vendors for other event essentials. Currently the venue does not have a liquor license so they are BYOB, but they have a preferred TABC bartender available for hire.
The best is yet to come for this Austin hot spot. Neon Nights presented by Roadhouse Relics has many changes on the horizon, which includes plans to expand the backyard, adding another bathroom and also create a rooftop patio above the gallery to overlook the view of downtown Austin. This also means that the maximum capacity will be raised to nearly 130 guests. Parking is also a common question, especially in Austin, but Roadhouse Relics has accommodation for up to 25 vehicles. If that is not enough for your event they can hire a valet service as well.
Neon Nights by Roadhouse Relics is definitely a venue and event service to keep your eye on, they have just begun and have a lot to offer! For more information or to plan your next event, you can contact Chef David Waggoner at email@example.com or contact directly at (512) 554-7378.
