There are A LOT of interesting events in Nottingham this week. We’ve narrowed them down to 7 and included a few that are child friendly but are equally as fun for grown ups.events in Nottingham

There’s comedy, an outdoor silent disco, an art exhibition launch, an outdoor film screening, a virtual reality experience, the chance to solve a murder mystery AND an interactive film experience!

On top of these 7 suggestions, it’s the 2017 Broadfest Music Festival this Saturday! Check out our friends I’m Not From London who are taking over The Brewdog with their stage.

Stand Up Comedy

Weds, 13th September – 8pm – £1 Comedy Night – Canalhouse

We’re a big fan of these NCF comedy nights! Expect a range of new and more established acts practising their new material – who knows, you might get to see the next big star! This is a very popular night so you might want to get tickets online.

Become a detective

Sat, 16th September – Manhunt Nottingham

Take part in this murder mystery game and compete against other teams in Nottingham. Teams of 2-6 use a special app to track down the 18 virtual-witnesses placed all over town (think Pokemon-Go style!), eliminate suspects and rule-out murder weapons.

It’s just like real-life Cluedo! Don’t expect anything as challenging as an escape room but we had fun running around the city centre when we took part in the last manhunt event. Our top tip – watch out for red herrings!

We’ve been told that children and dogs are welcome too!

Alternatively you can be a spectator, have a drink from the bar, and watch the kill zone action from the safety and comfort of the balcony.
