Exciting things are going on at Austin Music Hall! Currently in phase one of a three-phase renovation by managers and operators The Electric Company (slated to be completed by Spring 2013), the Austin Music Hall is making improvements that will solidify the space as a prime spot for downtown Austin events.
Upon walking through the front doors, the early improvements can be noticed, as a fresh coat of paint, a thorough cleaning, and new lighting brightens the space. Fixed neon signs, a new gobo projector (think: signature company logo or bride/groom monogram lighting prominent wall to greet guests), and renewed bars perk up the modern space, which has a capacity of up to 3,600 guests with a banquet capacity of up to 1,600 and a theater capacity of approximately 2,200.
The major renovation includes changes in the sound acoustics, led by Nomad Sound. This initial phase includes installing 64 new acoustic panels, which also add an artistic and architectural element to the walls.
Beyond improving the sounds of this huge space, the Music Hall includes three newly designed artist dressing rooms, each with comfortable furniture and restrooms perfect for pre-ceremony dressing and preparation, or entertainer's green room.
Available for day and evening rentals, the Austin Music Hall accommodates a wide variety of events ranging from conventions, banquet dinners, concerts, corporate parties, receptions, meetings, film screenings, luncheons, holiday parties and product launches. The spacious modern venue can be used as-is, highlighting its industrial accents, or can easily be decorated to fit your event’s design.
