What Does Event Stuff Cost in Austin?| Ice Sculpture

Welcome to part one of the first post in a new series that is designed to answer the question, "What does event stuff cost in Austin?"Each week, we'll highlight a product or service that was purchased to enhance an actual event that The Simplifiers planned in the Austin area and we'll ask YOU what you think it cost based on some basic facts. Tomorrow, we'll come back and let you know what the true price point was and more importantly, the reason WHY things cost what they do.This Week's Product: Ice SculptureThe Deets: The ice sculpture in the photo below was created for a 700 person corporate client's annual employee appreciation awards dinner. The event was held at the F1 Media Center at the Circuit of the Americas racetrack and had an ultra cool 1920's Monte Carlo Luxe theme. Our good friends over at Full Spectrum Ice created this one of a kind "Ice Curtain" for our client. Believe it or not, this bad boy weighed in at over 600 lbs (at the start of the event of course)! So now it's question time...How much do you think this one-of-a-kind, custom made, ice sculpture curtain cost? (keep in mind, this price includes design, labor, delivery, raw materials, etc)

A. $500-$1000 B. $ 1500- $2000 C. $2200-$2700 D. Over $3000
